ANDREW JONES
Associate Licensed Counselor
Andrew enjoys counseling men, women, and couples, specifically addressing a range of topics such as anxiety, depression, marital problems, communication issues, conflict resolution, spirituality, spiritual abuse & religious trauma, and/or identity formation. He explores emotions, thought patterns, and relational dynamics to help people feel understood and able to navigate the problems in their lives.
Andrew counsels with an integrative mindset, blending principles primarily from emotionally-focused therapy, internal family systems, interpersonal process, attachment theory, and narrative therapy.

Andrew graduated with his Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, MO. He is native of the Birmingham area, and has 10 years of vocational ministry experience prior to his work as a counselor. Andrew is married to Emalee and they have two young children. He enjoys relaxing with Emalee, building LEGO with his son, sushi dates with his daughter, reading, college football, black coffee, superhero movies, and the music of Warren Zevon.
As an Associate Licensed Counselor, Andrew is under the supervision of Joyce McKay, M.Ed, EdS, CSAT.
